Temperature
The Temperature Laboratory realises the International Temperature Scale of 1990 (ITS-90) through a set of fixed point cells (TPW, Hg, Ga, In, Sn, Zn, Al, Ag and Cu) and a set of standard platinum resistance thermometers (SPRTs).
Calibration services provided are:
Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometers
Calibration of Standard Platinum Resistance Thermometers directly at the fixed points of TPW, Hg, Ga, In, Sn, Zn and Al, covering the temperature range from -38.8344 °C to 660.323 °C.

Climatic chambers are calibrated in the range from -40 °C to 140 °C. The temperature profile of the chamber can also be measured using 9 PRT sensors distributed in the working volume of the chamber. If the chamber has the capability to create relative humidity conditions, an additional reference hygrometer is used to measure these conditions.
