Join us in the historic New York State Building, where President William McKinley attended a luncheon on the eve of the Pan-American Exposition, exactly 125 years later. The Buffalo History Museum Board of Managers invites you to attend 125 Years of the Pan-American Exposition: A Meeting and Celebration of Membership.
The evening will begin with the Annual Meeting of Membership, including the election of the Board of Managers and important updates on the Museum’s direction and growth. Following the meeting, we invite you to stay and enjoy a special after-hours celebration honoring the 125th anniversary of the 1901 Pan-American Exposition.
Guests will enjoy a live piano performance by Jim Beishline, along with rare Pan-American artifacts from the Museum’s collection and private collections, many of which are seldom on public display and available to view for one night only, presented by members of the Pan-Am Collectors Club. You will also get a first look at our new Interactive Midway Map, coming soon to the Return of the Rainbow City exhibit, as well as complimentary hors d’oeuvres provided by Tappo at the Museum.
Throughout the evening, connect with fellow members and spend time with Museum staff, who will be sharing more about their work, collections, and the stories that bring the Museum to life.
This free event is exclusive to Museum members.
