LGS Named School of the Year at Tennis Leicestershire Awards
We are delighted to announce that LGS has been named School of the Year at the Tennis Leicestershire Awards, held this week at Welford Road, the home of Leicester Tigers.
This fantastic achievement reflects the continued strength of our tennis programme and the dedication shown by pupils and staff throughout the year. Our thriving tennis culture is built on commitment, enthusiasm and a shared passion for the sport—and this award is a wonderful recognition of that collective effort.
A special thank you goes to our outstanding tennis coach, Luke Godsmark, whose expertise, energy and unwavering support have played a pivotal role in developing our players and driving the programme forward. His commitment ensures that pupils of all abilities feel encouraged, challenged and inspired.
This award is a celebration of teamwork, perseverance and the vibrant sporting life at LGS. We are incredibly proud of everyone involved and look forward to building on this success in the year ahead.
