The Honourable Supreme Court of India constituted a National Task Force under the Chairpersonship of Justice (Retired) S. Ravindra Bhat. The Task Force includes experts from various domains.
Its mandate is to deliberate on student mental health issues, recommend preventive measures to reduce student suicides, and strengthen support systems across higher educational institutions.

The College is located in a semi-urban area of Dhemaji district in the easternmost corner of Assam.
It is situated on the border of Assam and Arunachal and is surrounded by villages of tribal and backward communities.
It is located in a quiet green natural surrounding and is situated at Aradhai, Dhemaji, in the District of Dhemaji

I, on behalf of the college fraternity, welcome you to this seat of higher learning. As a result of
the tireless effort of the committed and self-sacrificing, enlightened individuals, this institute
came into being in 1982. I consider it a matter of great pride and honor to be a part of Dhemaji
Commerce College. The college now strives towards all-round development of individuals of the
district as well as the state. We are trying to provide all possible help and facilities to make the
college a potential for excellence in higher education.

1. Two-year course of higher secondary (Commerce) after +10, divided into first year and second year.
2. Two-year course of higher secondary (Arts) after +10, divided into first year and second year.
Degree Courses
1. Three year degree course of bachelor of commerce (B.com) General/Specialty course after 10+2 in commerce /Arts/divided into Semester I to VI.
2. Three year degree course of bachelor of Arts non Major/ Major after 10+2 in commerce/ Arts divided into semester I to VI.
Vocational Courses
1. Computer Education- The college provides computer courses of CDAC with due permission of dibrugarh university.
Presently it offers-
(i) certificate in office automation(COA)
(ii) diploma in computer application (DCA)
(iii) PGDCA+ PGDMCA+- Duration 3 months/8 months/ 2 years.
Technical Courses
1. Radio/ TV(Electronic) and household Electrical Appliances Repairing.
2. Air conditioning and Refrigeration and household electrical Appliances repairing.
3. Clock and watch(Electronic) Repairing and household Electrical Appliances Repairing.
