Summer Academy 2026
Lake Forest Academy is offering high school and middle school classes this summer as part of its Summer Academy program. The high school classes will provide the option of earning transcript credit while the middle school classes offer enrichment opportunities. The high school program will run from June 8-July 2 while the middle school program is scheduled for June 8-26.
Following a successful launch of the first Summer Academy in 2023, the program provides a remarkable learning opportunity for both high school and middle school students. High school students will engage in a rigorous curriculum taught by LFA teachers. Current LFA students will have the option to earn transcript credit (non-LFA high school students will be issued a transcript that they can provide to their high school). Middle school students will explore a plethora of topics and have fun developing and sharpening their critical thinking skills while having the opportunity to learn on our campus.
The high school program will have full-credit, half-credit, and non-credit enrichment options this summer. Full-credit courses will run from June 8-July 2 and will include Algebra 1, Geometry, Chemistry 1, and Biology 1. Half-credit courses will be offered across two, two-week-long sessions. Session 1, from June 8-18, features Data Science and Digital Art & Design; while Session 2, from June 22-July 2 features Data Science and Digital Photography. A non-credit enrichment course is also available June 15-18 in Foundations of AP Historical Writing. Class each day will start at 8:30/9 a.m. and conclude at 2:30 p.m. with a 30-minute complimentary lunch in the Academy's dining hall located in the JC Cowart Student Center. All classes will be held at Lake Forest Academy's campus, although the possibility of field trips does exist.
The middle school program will run from June 8-26 and all classes will also be held on Lake Forest Academy's campus. Middle school courses will cover a variety of offerings over three weeks - each week will include a week-long morning session from 8:30-11:30 a.m. and a week-long afternoon session from 12-3 p.m. Campers are welcome to participate in both sessions and enjoy a complimentary lunch on campus. All middle school courses are for rising 6th, 7th, 8th, and 9th graders.
LFA hopes to run all classes listed, but each class will be determined by the number of student sign-ups by the registration deadline. For more information, including pricing and class descriptions, or to register for Summer Academy 2026, please visit
