Close the left navigation
The Mentored Quantitative Career Development Award (K25) supports the career development of investigators with quantitative scientific and engineering backgrounds outside of biology or medicine who have made a commitment to focus their research endeavors on behavioral or biomedical research (basic or clinical). The target candidates are research-oriented scientists with experience at the junior faculty (early to mid level of assistant professor or research assistant professor ranks). This award provides up to five years of support for a plan of supervised study and research with a mentor with extensive behavioral or biomedical research experience in order to integrate their quantitative expertise with biomedicine and develop into productive investigators.
