Global Monitoring Annual Conference
Dear GMAC Colleagues,
NOAA’s Global Monitoring Laboratory (GML) is proud to announce the 53rd Global Monitoring Annual Conference (GMAC) will be held in person May 19-20, 2026 in Boulder, Colorado, fostering collaboration and partnerships in the global atmospheric monitoring community.
For those unable to attend in person, we will have a virtual option available for attending and presenting. If you plan to attend remotely, please tick the appropriate box on the registration form.
This year’s GMAC will be held on the University of Colorado campus in the University Memorial Center’s Glenn Miller Ballrooms. This venue provides a comfortable large meeting space, a dedicated poster display location, and break-out rooms for enhanced collaboration.
The conference will have a nominal registration fee to cover the costs of the facility, coffee breaks, and lunch each day. The registration fee schedule is posted on the conference registration website.
The conference abstract submission website is open through Noon MDT on April 6th. There is no fee to submit an abstract. Confirmation of acceptance of abstracts will be provided by April 17.
Accepted abstract presenters must register for the conference by April 30 in order to be guaranteed their slot in the program.
Pre-conference registration closes April 30. On site registration during the conference will be available at a higher fee.
Federal employee registration fees do NOT include food. Federal employees who would like a boxed lunch each day will be required to pay for the food separately. See the conference registration website for details.

Conference Transportation:
No shuttles will be run between hotels and the CU campus.
Parking is conveniently available in the lot adjacent to the University Memorial Center on the University of Colorado Boulder campus (1725 Euclid Avenue). Accessible parking is available in surrounding lots with an ADA placard. Use the Park Mobile app to register your vehicle and pay for the time you will be on campus. Additional parking information is available on
CU’s Parking website.
Registered in-person attendees will receive a discount code to park on campus at the conference rate.
Public transportation in the Boulder area is very reliable. You can find more information on bus routes and schedules at the
Regional Transportation District-Denver website
.

Conference Meals:
Boxed lunches for Tuesday and Wednesday are included as part of the registration fee EXCEPT for federal employees. There are other options for lunch and dinner nearby:
