Children Services
The library provides a variety of services for children:
Print books,
Vermont Book Award
titles, magazines, audiobooks, DVDs, games, circulating STEAM kits, and other
Library of Things
items are available in the library. Physical materials (books, DVDs, etc.) may be requested for self-service pick-up by placing a hold in the
Library Catalog
, calling us at (802) 878-6956, or emailing us at
youth@brownelllibrary.org
. Patrons are welcome to request any books we do not own, and we will either add them to the collection or make them available through interlibrary loan.
We continue to add
Digital Resources
and make recommendations for games and online resources that you can enjoy from anywhere.
Regularly scheduled
Programs for Little Ones
and
Ongoing Programs for Children
start in September or October and run through mid-May; they follow the school schedule.
Summer Programs
start in June and run through July or early August. Check out our

for an up-to-date listing of programs.
1000 Books Before Kindergarten
challenges caregivers and preschool aged children to develop early literacy skills.
