The museum is a 501 (c)(3) organization. All donations are tax deductible. All officers, docents, and curators are volunteers. There is no paid staff.
The museum has been called a hidden jewel. It is overflowing with pretty radios, rare specimens, a large technical library, and many resources for those who participate. It is an opportunity to learn the history of radio and much of the technology that sprang from it. Smart phones would not exist without the inventions preserved in the museum.
