We are committed to UNIST’s globalization initiatives and support the various international community at UNIST.
Ulsan National Institute of Science and Technology
UNIST is a warm and welcoming post-secondary institution located in the heart of Korea’s largest industrial city, Ulsan, South Korea. Since its opening in 2009, UNIST has truly become one of the world’s leading science and technology universities. UNIST aims to be ranked within the top 10 science and technology universities by 2030.

– IT-based student-centered discussion classes (flipped learning)
Interdisciplinary Education
– All students are required to complete two or more areas of concentration. All professors are appointed to undertake two or more schools.
Globalization
-All of our academic courses are conducted in English. We also hope to increase the number of international students and professors by 20 percent by 2030.
Research Intensive
– Thrust areas of current research: Next-generation energy, Advanced materials (Bio-materials, Energy materials, Composite materials, Carbon materials)
