Thanks to a partnership with HonorHealth Sports Medicine and the Scottsdale Charros Foundation, each of our five SUSD high schools has received a new automated external defibrillator (AED) to support student safety at athletic events!
This investment strengthens emergency preparedness across our district and reflects a shared commitment to keeping our students safe when they take the field, court, track, or pool.

SPARK Team
, a districtwide strategic action team focused on strengthening and sustaining our signature programs, including STEAM/MSA, IB, Dual Language Immersion, Traditional, AVID, and CGP.
We are inviting
parents and community members
to apply to participate in this collaborative work. The SPARK Team will help guide continuous improvement, explore future program opportunities, and ensure our signature programs remain strong, sustainable, and aligned with student and community needs.

Chaparral High School's criminology program equips students with investigative skills, an understanding of forensics, and insight into the justice system and corrections. Beyond preparing them for future careers, this program fosters informed citizenship by deepening students' awareness of their rights and those of others.
