Director’s Message
Centre for DNA Fingerprinting and Diagnostics (CDFD) is one of the premier research organizations in the country, an autonomous research centre of the Biotechnology Research and Innovation Council (BRIC) and an integral part of the larger ecosystem at Hyderabad. At CDFD, we are committed to advancing cutting-edge research in diverse fields of biology and spanning across scales to address critical challenges in health, agriculture, and forensics. Our mission is to foster innovation, excellence, and collaboration, empowering scientists to push the boundaries of knowledge and translate discoveries into real-world solutions. I am proud of our vibrant community of researchers, students, and staff who work tirelessly to drive scientific progress. Together, we strive to create a transformative impact on society through interdisciplinary research, state-of-the-art facilities, and a commitment to ethical and equitable science. Besides the emphasis on discovery biology, we are building a thriving environment to support entrepreneurs, start-ups and industries. I invite you to actively engage with CDFD and explore the exciting opportunities at our institute, where curiosity meets innovation, and together, we shape the future of both fundamental and applied science.
