The Division of Research is committed to promoting and ensuring the highest standards of research integrity in proposing, conducting, and reporting research. Through its various programs, the Division provides information and guidance in areas such as biosafety, animal use and care, human research protection, and biosafety occupational health.

Report Research MIsconduct
Research Compliance and Biosafety
Provides guidance on biosafety, animal care, human research protection and occupational health. Compliance committees oversee safety and adherence to applicable regulations in research, teaching and testing.
Animal Welfare Program
Supports Texas A&M’s Institutional Animal Care and Use Committees (IACUC), through which all faculty, staff and students using animals, regardless of location or funding, must obtain approval before activities begin.

Biosafety Program
Upholds compliance with biohazard regulations through Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC) oversight. Activities involving biohazards require prior approval, with training and guidance provided to support safe research, teaching and testing practices.

Time and Effort
