What to expect at council meetings
Metro Council
meetings, sometimes called business meetings, are when the council hears public communication on agenda items, listens to reports and presentations from staff, and takes action to vote on legislation.
Council meetings are held online and in person at the Metro Regional Center council chamber. The public is encouraged to attend all Metro Council meetings, and every meeting includes public communications, or time for the public to give their comments, either generally or on items on the agenda for the day. Public testimony may be delivered either in person or online. See the

for information on how to give your comments before or during the meeting.
If you are unable to attend a meeting live, audio and video recordings are available online within a week of each meeting.
