Fulbright Student Advising
This program provides guidance to students interested in being part of the Fulbright U.S. Student Program, which awards grants to conduct research or teach English in more than 140 countries.
What is the Fulbright U.S. Student Program?
The Fulbright U.S. Student Program grants U.S. citizen students with a degree from a U.S. university the opportunity to study, research, engage in an artistic activity, and teach English abroad for one year following the U.S. academic calendar. Over 140 countries participate in research fellowships, and 75 countries participate in teaching fellowships. During the year, awardees are expected to complete a community engagement project of some kind.
Soka University of America, with its commitment to developing global citizens, is an ideal training ground for students interested in Fulbright and other international fellowships.
