Vice Chancellor of SAU, Engr. Prof. Dr. Altaf Ali Siyal, emphasized the importance of agricultural engineering during his visit to the workshop of the Department of Farm Power and Machinery, highlighting the need for hands-on training in modern and conventional machinery. He also stressed the role of technologies like mechanization, GIS, and remote sensing in addressing climate and resource challenges, and announced plans to upgrade workshop facilities. On the occasion, Dean Prof. Dr. Munir Ahmed Mangrio highlighted the focus on curriculum development, research, and practical training, while Chairman Prof. Dr. Farman Ali Chandio briefed about hands-on training and industry linkages.
