Pharos University accepts students holding the Egyptian HSC (ThanaweyaAmma) or any equivalent certificates accredited by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities, including the following:
American High School Diploma.

French Baccalaureate.
German Abitur.

Other certificates accredited by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities.

2008: original certificate of secondary two and three accredited from the Saudi embassy or consulate in Egypt and the Egyptian Foreign affairs + original birth certificate.
After 2008: A copy of potentials certificate + original certificate of secondary two and three accredited by the Saudi embassy or consulate in Egypt and the Egyptian Foreign affairs + original birth certificate.

According to Paragraph 14 in the Chapter of General Remarks on the Admission Regulations at the Egyptian Private Universities Admission Guidebook (2016-2017) (referred to at page 2), the Egyptian students who received the Libyan secondary school certificates from countries like Sudan or Niger will not be accepted. Only certificates from Libya or Egypt will be accepted.
D) Other secondary schools certificates from other Arabian countries: Palestine – Iraq – Syria – UAE – Oman – Jordan – Qatar
Required Documents
Original certificate accredited by the Egyptian embassy or consulate in the country that issued it and the Egyptian Foreign affairs + original birth certificate. Concerning secondary school certificates from Syria, an accredited

of the certificate is sufficient.

Secondary schools certificates from Yemen: a complete academic sequence from first till twelfth grade (similar to foreign certificates) should be presented. The junior school certificate and preparatory school certificate accredited might be presented instead of first till ninth grade.

A)
American Diploma from Egypt
Required Documents
The applicants have to bring their original GPA certificates which are accredited by the Egyptian Cultural Consultant in Washington if the certificates were issued before 2016. Meanwhile, the applicants, whose certificates were issued after 2016, have to bring a document accredited by the
Private Education Sector
included the student’s name and that all the due fees were paid
and stamped from NCA and the General Administration of Examination at the Ministry of Education ((الإدارة العامة للإمتحانات including the tenth, eleventh and twelfth grades, eleventh and twelfth grades or only the twelfth grade, according to the case of each student. These documents are required according to the resolution amended by the Supreme Council of Egyptian Universities

Minimum result should be at least 800 in SAT 1 + at least 900 in SAT 2, taking into consideration any changes made by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education for the academic year , GPA for (New SAT) must not be less than 800 till May 2019.
SAT 2 is an essential requirement for
applying to the Faculty of Engineering
(
in case the student did not study advanced mathematics
) and registered in it Mathematics + Physics or Chemistry or Biology.
Studying a 2

language French, German or Spanish from the school subjects (High School) is a must to
apply to the Faculty of Language & translation

8 equivalent subjects should be studied – minimum 4 subjects in grade 12 & maximum 2 subjects in grade 10.

Original preparatory school certificate, in case it was studied according to the Egyptian system or a complete academic sequence, in case it was studied according to a foreign system, accredited by the stamp of the government.
Academic credentials
Abiding by the enrollment terms of minimum grades set by the ministry.
Eight O.L. subjects should be studied, including the qualifying subjects; minimum grade should be C, and three or four study years. Taking into consideration any changes made by the Egyptian Ministry of Higher Education.
Mathematics AS or AL to
