Legal Knowledge and Understanding: Graduates will demonstrate a comprehensive understanding of core legal principles, doctrines, and theories across various areas of law, including but not limited to constitutional law, criminal law, contract law, and international law.
Legal Research and Analysis: Graduates will possess strong research skills and the ability to critically analyze legal issues. They should be adept at locating, interpreting, and applying legal sources, including statutes, case law, and scholarly articles, to formulate well-reasoned legal arguments.
Effective Communication: Graduates will be proficient in legal writing and oral communication. They should be able to draft clear and concise legal documents, such as contracts and legal opinions, and effectively articulate legal arguments in moot court sessions, client consultations, and other legal contexts.
Ethical and Professional Practice: Graduates will understand and adhere to the ethical standards and professional conduct expected in the legal profession. This includes a commitment to integrity, confidentiality, and a sense of responsibility towards clients, the legal system, and society at large.
Problem-Solving and Critical Thinking: Graduates will be equipped with strong problem-solving and critical thinking skills, enabling them to analyze complex legal issues, identify relevant legal principles, and propose effective and innovative solutions to legal problems.

Specialized Legal Knowledge: Graduates will have acquired specialized knowledge in specific areas of law based on the chosen electives or concentrations within the program. This could include expertise in fields like environmental law, human rights law, or corporate law.
Advocacy Skills: Graduates specializing in advocacy or litigation will have developed advanced skills in courtroom procedures, evidence presentation, and persuasive argumentation, preparing them for successful legal practice as litigators.
Transactional Competence: Graduates focusing on transactional law will demonstrate proficiency in drafting legal documents such as contracts, agreements, and negotiations. They will understand the intricacies of business transactions and be able to provide sound legal advice to clients in commercial settings.
Legal Technology Proficiency: Graduates will be familiar with and proficient in using contemporary legal technologies, including legal research databases, case management systems, and other tools relevant to modern legal practice.
Cross-Cultural Competence: Graduates will have a heightened awareness and understanding of the cultural nuances and diversity within legal contexts. This will enable them to navigate global legal issues and work effectively in multicultural settings, especially in an increasingly interconnected world.
Eligibility Criteria
Minimum marks in qualifying examination for admission: The Bar Council of India may, from time to time, stipulate the minimum percentage of marks not below 45% of the total marks in the case of general category applicants,42% for the OBC category, and 40% of the total marks in case of SC and ST applicants, to be obtained for the qualifying examination, such as +2 examination in case of Integrated Five Years’ course or Degree course in any discipline for Three years’ LLB course, to apply for and getting admitted into a law Degree Program of any recognized University in either of the streams.
Such a minimum qualifying mark shall not automatically entitle a person to get admission into an institution. However, it only shall entitle the person concerned to fulfill other institutional criteria notified by the institution concerned or by the government concerned from time to time to apply for admission.
