The Brighton College (Singapore) Advisory Board has appointed the following individuals as members of the Academic Board as required by the Private Education Act.

Duties of The Academic Board
The Academic Board looks into the academic quality and rigour of Brighton College (Singapore). Its responsibilities include:
Developing the policies and procedures to ensure academic quality and rigour such as:
Ensuring that the content and duration of the modules or subjects, as well as the school entry and graduation requirements of the course are appropriate; and
Approving the deployment of teachers based on the requirements stipulated by the SkillsFuture Singapore
Facilitating the implementation and ensuring Brighton College (Singapore) complies with the policies and procedures developed; and
Reviewing, at least once a year, the academic policies and procedures.
The Examination Board
The Brighton College (Singapore) Advisory Board has appointed the following individuals as members of the Examination Board as required by the Private Education Act.

Duties of The Examination Board
The Examination Board of a private education institution shall have the responsibility to develop examination and assessment procedures for the private education institution, including but not limited to:
the security of examination scripts and answer scripts;
the conduct of examinations and assessments;
the duties and responsibilities of invigilators and markers;
the moderation of examination and assessment marks; and
the handling of appeals from pupils with regard to examination or assessment matters.
Management Representative
The Cognita Advisory Board has appointed Ms Lydia Ching as the Brighton College (Singapore)’s EduTrust Management Representative as required by the 2009 Private Education Act.
