We believe that the school is an extension of the Christian home, reinforcing the faith and values of parents—and together teachers, students, and parents help one another learn to think throughout their lives. Children are nurtured, supported and encouraged to see their unique strengths, gifts and talents as opportunities to serve God and their fellow man, thereby having a transforming effect on their culture and their world.
Preschool
Lynden Christian School offers preschool for 3-year olds and 4-year olds. It is a blended program of Christ-centered academics and social development presented in a creative and playful manner. The goal of our preschool program is to open up a whole new world of learning for your child. We offer the following half-day options for our preschool program:
3-years-old
Tuesday/Thursday morning (8:45-11:45 a.m.)
Monday/Wednesday afternoon (12:30-3:30 p.m.)
4-years-old
Monday/Wednesday/Friday morning (8:45-11:45 a.m.)
Monday/Wednesday/Friday afternoon (12:30-3:30 p.m.)
Tuesday/Thursday morning (8:45-11:45 a.m.)
Kindergarten
Our Kindergarten program provides an active and vibrant atmosphere where learning is fun. Loving words and actions in a disciplined classroom environment surround the children. A certified teacher and a trained classroom aide closely supervise the students in and out of the classroom. We offer the following full-day Kindergarten options to children who are 5-years-old by September 1:
