EMI has established regional and international recognition of its capabilities by:
Signing the CIPM Mutual Recognition Arrangement (CIPM MRA)
Being a full member of Gulf Association for Metrology (GULFMET)
Being an associate member of APMP
Being accredited by an accreditation body member of International Laboratory Accreditation Cooperation (ILAC) (scope of accreditation)
Cooperating with some of the most well-known national metrology institutes.
EMI has established cooperation with well-known National Metrology Institutes internationally and with major research and academic institutes of the UAE, to direct and/or participate in research work for the development and/or improvement of measurement standards and methods to meet the changing needs and to support the transfer of technologies in metrology from research to industry.
