School of Pharmacy (SoPH), Indrashil University (IU) offers PhD programme broadly in the areas of Pharamcy. It has seven R&D laboratories with excellent State-of -the-art infrastructure highly qualified PhD supervisors from premier institutes with a vast Post Doc experience in research institutes. The research laboratories are equipped with high throughput scientific equipments as NMR, the only university in Gujarat to be available for research scholars and faculty, GC, HPLC, FTIR, IR, ELISA Reader, Thermal cycler etc. The University believes in the philosophy that it is through Research & Innovation that will create a benchmark in the education system and hence equal emphasis is laid on research. PROFILE
Dr. Richa Dayaramani is a well-known pharmacy professional actively
involved in promoting pharmacy education and research. She completed
her post-graduation from MSU Baroda (2004) and doctorate in pharmacy
from Ganpat University Mehsana (2012) and has more than 23 years of
professional experience and exposure in industry, academics,
research and healthcare startups.
She is PG syllabus committee member, Pharmacy Council of India, New
Delhi, former Board of Studies member in Gujarat Technological
University, Founder President of Human Ethics Committees
Association, National committee member and former Vice President -
Gujarat, in Association of Pharmaceutical Teachers of India, Gujarat
State and has contributed by making several representations to
government and regulatory authorities for the welfare of the
profession. She is founder Vice President – Gandhidham chamber of
Commerce and Industries, Kachchh and District chairperson in Lions
Club of Karnavati, Ahmedabad.
Dr. Richa Dayaramani has several awards and accolades to her credit
like P C Kharia Best Principal Award by APTI (2019), Pharma Ratan –
Principal of the Year Award (2018), Shikshak Shri Samman (2017)
Eminent Pharmacist Award (2016) and 2 Best scientific presentation
awards.
RESEARCH
Dr. Richa Dayaramani works in development of topical and oral nano
formulations and building analytical profile for them. She has
developed an array of novel formulations for daily cosmetic needs
with a scientific and clinical evidence and established results.
She has published 38 publications, authored 2 books and edited 5
book chapters and has 7 patents including 1 granted, to her credit.
She has successfully completed 2 research projects sponsored by
AICTE and GUJCOST. She has successfully guided 1 PhD scholar and
currently supervising 4 PhD scholars.
She is associated as member Editorial Board and as Reviewer with
different National and International Journals. He has organized and
attended several national and international seminars, conferences
and workshops as chairperson, resource person and expert speaker.
She is associated with many healthcare companies as a technical
consultant and advisor.
