Membership FAQs
What is a card holder and who do I list on the membership?
A card holder is the adult that will visit the museum with the child(ren) and is named on the membership. The number of card holders allowed on a membership depends on the level of membership you choose. No child should be listed as a card holder.
As a Please Touch Museum member, is there a discounted price for my guests not covered under my membership?
Yes! If you bring guests beyond what is covered by your membership, the cost per guest is $15. Guest tickets may be purchased in person at our Admission Desk when you arrive for your visit. Please note guests must arrive with the member.
How many people can use my membership? Can my child bring a friend?
A membership includes one or more named cardholders (depending on membership level). At least one named cardholder must be present when you visit. The cardholder can bring whoever they’d like, up to the number of daily tickets listed on the membership. For example: a Family of Four membership has 4 tickets, so a cardholder can visit with any 3 additional guests.
Can my family member (or nanny) use my membership without me, if they’re not a cardholder?
No, at least one named cardholder must be present to use the membership. Consider listing them as one of the named cardholders if they will be visiting frequently.
If my child is under 1 year old, do they count towards the daily ticket limit in my membership?
No, all children under 1 are free. Once the child turns 1, they will count toward the number of tickets included with your membership.
As a member, do I have to make a reservation every time I visit?
Members are not required to make a reservation, but it is encouraged to speed up the check-in process. If you can’t make an online reservation, we’ve got you covered — just visit the Admission Desk with your photo ID.
Do memberships auto renew?
No, you must renew your membership in person or online.
What happens if I renew my membership before it expires?
If you renew your membership before it expires, it will expire 12 months from your original renewal date. No time will be lost by renewing early.

Enter the names to include on the membership as cardholders. Please enter the primary member’s information first, then any additional adults that your member level allows.
Memberships are non-refundable, non-transferable and cannot be used for group visits of any kind.

How do I add my membership card to my iPhone?
Access the email sent to you from your smartphone and click the “Download” button. Then, tap “Add to Wallet” and “Add.” Your card will be available anytime in the Apple Wallet app.

First, download the free version of the Google Wallet app (a paid version is not required). Open the

I don’t have access to a smartphone. How can I use my membership?
If you don’t have a smartphone, you can access your
membership
card online using the link in the email sent to you. From there, you can print a copy to bring during your visits.
I recently renewed or upgraded my membership. Will I receive a new digital membership card?
No need! Your
digital
card will automatically update within 24 hours of renewing or upgrading your
membership
. If the card does not refresh, ensure the automatic update option is enabled in your wallet app settings.
Can I update the information on my membership card?
Yes! You can log in to your PTM membership account to update details like email addresses, home address, and phone number. Changes will sync to your digital card automatically within 24 hours.

Will everyone listed on my membership receive their own card?
All named adults on the
membership
will receive their own card.
Digital
cards will be sent via email to the primary member, who can forward the email to the second member. Children do not receive individual cards.
How do I log in to my PTM membership account to view or change my membership details?
If you are visiting
the new PTM ticketing website
for the first time, you will need to create an account (even if you have an account on our current ticketing platform). In the navigation, click “My Account,” then click “Create Account.” Enter your first and last name and the email address associated with your membership. We will attempt to match your information to your existing membership.
After you create an account, you’ll be able to view the details of your membership, view and change the email address, mailing address, and phone number associated with your membership, view your past and upcoming ticket reservations, and view the secondary members listed on your account.
What is the ACM Reciprocal Network, and how does my digital membership card work with it?
The
ACM Reciprocal Network
includes over 200 participating children’s museums in the U.S. and Canada. Please Touch Museum members enjoy 50% off general admission for up to six (6) people at participating museums. The cardholder must be present to use the discount. Tip: Check with the museum you plan to visit to confirm their participation before your trip.
What if I lose the email with my digital membership card?
If you misplace the email, contact us at

@pleasetouchmuseum.org. We’ll resend the card so you can download it again.
I’m having trouble adding my card to my wallet. Who can help?
