How do I select my performances for the Season Pass?
This season, there are two different options for selecting the performances you’d like to attend with your Season Pass.
Those who select the Choose Events Now package will receive priority seating, and no further action will be required. Please note: you must select only one date for each opera production. Those who select more than one date for an opera production will be contacted to resolve their selections, which may cause a delay.
Those who select Choose Events Later to select their performances at a later date will receive a Performance Selection Form via email from our Curtis Patron Services team to confirm their selected performances. This form must be completed no later than August 1. Once performances are selected, we will begin seating you for the performances you have chosen.
How does the Choose Your Own subscription work?
Once you have completed your purchase, you will receive an e-mail confirming your subscription order and our team will print and package your performance tickets. You will receive a secondary email once your order ships.
Can I donate tickets back for a credit?
No. Unused subscription tickets can only be released back into the general inventory and are not eligible for a donation. However, we do offer comparable exchanges between events and, if Curtis cancels a performance, Choose Your Own subscribers will receive a full refund.
When will I receive my subscription tickets?
We offer two delivery methods for subscriptions:
Standard Mail
or
Will Call
Subscribers who choose “Will Call” as their delivery method can choose either to pick up all their tickets at their first event of the season or to have their tickets held at the Patron Services table for pickup at each event throughout the season. You will be able to select your preference at checkout.
Subscribers who select Standard Mail as their delivery method will have their tickets shipped on a rolling basis beginning in June. All subscribers will be notified by email when their order ships or is ready for pick up.
Am I able to make changes to my subscription?
Yes. One of the benefits of being a Curtis subscriber includes free ticket exchanges and reprints at any time. We understand plans change and will do our best to accommodate date selections, seating changes, and, if possible, event exchanges. All exchanges are subject to best available seating at the time of the exchange.
In order to request an exchange for a subscription ticket, email
tickets@curtis.edu
or call Curtis Patron Services at

Field Concert Hall
1726 Locust Street
Seating for alumni, student, family, and faculty recitals is general admission with advance registration. Doors usually open approximately 30 minutes before the performance, and then you may sit wherever you wish. Field Concert Hall holds 220 seats, and there are no bad seats in the house. When a piano is featured, the best seats are generally considered just left of center, towards the front, so you can see the piano keyboard.
Gould Rehearsal Hall
1616 Locust Street
Gould Rehearsal Hall is located on the second floor of Lenfest Hall at 1616 Locust Street. To access the building, ring the doorbell and you will be prompted to either head up the stairs or to the elevator toward the Hall.
Seating for all events in Gould is general admission with advance registration. Doors usually open approximately 30 minutes before the performance, and then you may sit wherever you wish. Gould holds approximately 165 seats and due to the intimate nature of the space, all seats are of equal quality.
Black Box Theater
1726 Locust Street
This black-box space holds approximately 110 seats and is configured differently for each performance. The Black Box Theater is wheelchair-accessible, however there is a wheel-chair lift and an elevator, and some travel down the hallways of our third floor. Advanced arrival time for those with accessibility needs is recommended to ensure a timely arrival before the performance.
Play to your greatness.
