We have a systematic approach to dealing with our clients’ problems, and help them through a round of clinical counselling session to firstly, introduce them to their problems, and then show them the way to dealing with and confront those conflicting issues, without fear or phobia.
It has been medically proven that when the people confront what they fear repeatedly without getting the negative outcome they actually feared, the sense of phobia would gradually subside. This does not only help in changing the mental frame of a person in a natural manner, but also helps in building back the lost confidence and sensitivity towards self.
In severe cases, we take the help of medicines and therapies that would help our clients to fight back the physical symptoms caused by the anxiety.
As a community mental health center, Northeastern Center provides comprehensive mental health services, including outpatient therapy and medication management, substance use treatment, adult residential homes, inpatient services, 24/7 crisis services and more. With 12 locations across DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble and Steuben counties, it has served northeast Indiana since 1977.
No person shall, on the grounds of race, religion, sex, age, disability, national origin, ancestry, veterans status, ability to pay, GINA, gender identity or sexual orientation be excluded from participating in, be denied the benefit of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity of Northeastern Center, Inc. A discounted/sliding fee schedule is available based on family size and income.
