(St. John’s, NL)
April 10, 2026 – The Royal Newfoundland Constabulary (RNC) has seized pills and illegal cigarettes in St. John’s.
As part of a drug trafficking investigation by the Weapons and Drug Enforcement Unit (WDEU) with assistance from Operational Patrol Services, officers arrested two people in the Brookfield Road area shortly after 8 a.m. yesterday (April 9).
Officers located and seized from a vehicle:
OxyContin
Percocet
Ritalin
Methylphenidate
Zopiclone
50 cartons (500 packages) of illicit cigarettes
Brass Knuckles
A 35-year-old man and 30-year-old woman were arrested. The investigation is ongoing.
