Heritage Lets Properties
History
In 2005 we begun a programme of restoring some of the historic military sites, historic buildings and heritage cottages across the Island. In 2006 the first restored forts, towers and cottages opened as ‘Heritage Lets’.
There are now 21 sites in the programme and the Heritage Lets scheme is now universally regarded as a great success. A significant number of commercially and culturally redundant buildings at risk were given a long-term future and are now rented out as holiday cottages, towers and forts. Each year the Heritage Lets are enjoyed by thousands of Islanders and tourists.
Funds earned from the Heritage Lets programme are ring-fenced for maintenance and development of further properties.

Archirondel Tower
What a treat!
I highly recommend Archirondel Tower: cosy, comfortable and extremely well equipped. It is a quirky design on 3 floors (plus access to the roof for stunning views), which has been beautifully and sensitivlely renovated to give a luxurious feel whilst maintaining the history of the structure. I loved the door that opens from the bedroom giving you a view of the beach from your bed! Perfect for enjoying your morning cuppa.
There is a balcony too if you are lucky enough to have some sunshine during your stay.
We were only there for 2 nights, but came away feeling refreshed and relaxed. It’s location right next to the bay is perfect. Watching the ever changing skies and sea having the waves lapping on the rocks below is a truly magical experience. Also lots of lovely walks from the doorstep.

Wholesome family fun – Endless rain didn’t dampen adventure
Stayed for a few days over the half-term holiday. While the weather made trips to the toilet and moving between the rooms a little soggy - we still had a brilliant family stay. Once the children got over the lack of Wifi we appreciated the quality time playing board games, making the most of the peace and solitude - the rain kept people away so we felt like Bouley Bay was our own little private playground. Lovely kitchen and facilities, stocked with everything we needed. Lovely and warm inside the rooms (I had been expecting it to be chilly but was lovely and cosy). A perfect place to reset and recharge and spend time with loved ones.
