Welcome to the Chalon Campus
Nestled into the foothills of the Santa Monica Mountains, is the jewel of Mount Saint Mary’s University, our historic Chalon Campus.
Chalon opened
in
1930, less than five years after the school's founding by the
Sisters
of St. Joseph of Carondelet at our original location
near
downtown
Los Angeles.
Chalon features
unparalleled beauty, including
Spanish Colonial architecture,
rolling
hills,
access to

In addition, our shuttles take students
between campuses, as well as
to various spot
s around the city for shopping, beach access and dining out.
Student housing options are plentiful for Chalon Campus students, including six residence halls on campus and other locations off-campus
The

Circle
. It’s also a social hub for students year-round.
Brady Hall is one of the six Residence Halls on the Chalon Campus. The rooms in each residence hall are styled differently but generally all include a twin XL bed and frame, desk with a chair, closet and storage space.
In the Student Lounge you will find a variety of board games, arcade machines, a television seating area and study tables.

Welcome to the Doheny Campus
The Doheny Campus opened in 1962. The campus is a combination of 1900’s mansions and cutting edge facilities.  The most famous building is the Doheny Mansion, at the center of the campus.
Student housing options are plentiful for Doheny Campus students, including on- and off-campus options.  The campus is centrally located to all that downtown Los Angeles has to offer, including Crypto.com Arena, LA Live, Disney Music Hall, Olvera Street, Union Station, Little Tokyo, Koreatown, and the Theater, Jewelry, Fashion, Flower and Financial Districts.
The Doheny Mansion is the most iconic building on the Doheny campus. The 1st floor of the Mansion is kept in its original condition including original furniture.
The McCarthy Library, its vaulted wood ceilings warmed by abundant natural light, was designed to harmonize beautifully with its elegant, Victorian-era neighbors. The airy, open floor plan encourages collaboration and helps support the needs of Mount students at all levels of learning.
Our Doheny Campus is situated in the heart of Downtown LA. T
ake advantage of all the city has to offer, right next door.
Rose Hills is the largest lecture hall on campus and is often used for classes, information sessions, discussion groups, and events. Outside, the Rose Hills Plaza is a common area space on campus where students can eat lunch, study, and enjoy the sun.
