Veteran Peace Campaigners Stand Again in Local Elections
Jim Duggan and John Morris agreed that it was vital to give the electorate the chance to say that
all
conflicts, domestic to international, can be resolved non-violently providing minds are willing to go the necessary mile to avoid the killing, war and terrorism seen everyday on our screens. Postings on this Website and other social media aim to show “How” peace can be achieved over the weeks leading up the new local elections on 7th May.
John is standing for a West Surrey Council seat being contested in the Guildford West Ward where he has lived for nearly forty years. Jim is contesting the one seat available in the Horsham Riverside Division of the new West Sussex County Council
AND
he is also standing for one of the Horsham Parish Council seats in the Chesworth and Oakhill Ward where he lives.
