The Calne Foundation Trust (CFT) supports us to ensure pupils at St Mary’s Calne and St Margaret’s Prep can flourish, academically, socially and personally. Every gift to CFT, no matter the size, helps create more opportunities. Supporting pupils to achieve more
The Calne Foundation Trust (CFT) was established in 2012 to extend opportunities for pupils at St Mary’s Calne and St Margaret’s Prep to flourish, academically, socially and personally. Thanks to the generosity of our community, The Calne Foundation Trust helps our schools dream bigger, reach further and continue making a real difference to the lives of young people, today and for generations to come.
The Calne Foundation Trustees are parents, former parents and alumnae who generously give their time and expertise in running the Trust.

The 150 Society
Our 150 Society celebrates those who support our bursaries helping to create life-changing opportunities and ensure our pupils continue to flourish.
Members of our 150 Society are recognised through invitations to special events, intimate supporter gatherings and inclusion in our publications and our 150 Society benefactor board, unless they prefer to remain anonymous. Members also receive updates on the impact of their generosity from bursary recipients’ stories to exciting new projects which their support makes possible.
Membership begins at Bronze level, with opportunities to contribute at Silver, Gold and Platinum tiers. However you choose to give, your support transforms lives and ensures more pupils can benefit from all that St Mary’s Calne and St Margaret’s Prep have to offer.

Our 150 Society Donor board, unveiled in Autumn Term 2025, recognises the ongoing support of our members, with space to add new members as they join our 150 Society. As one of the oldest schools for girls in the UK, the 150 Society was established in 2023 when we celebrated our 150
th
anniversary.
Proudly displayed in the Sports Club reception, our ‘Perspexangel Memory Tree’ sculpture honours the families and individuals who generously contributed to the construction of our outstanding Sports Centre. The tree has 170 gold, silver and bronze toned laminate leaves, handmade by designer Claudia Ashley-Brown.
