Albertus Magnus College Welcomes New Director of Information Technology Services
Glenn Newman Takes Leadership Role in Second Century of Excellence
Director of Information Technology Services Glenn Newman, M.A.
New Haven, Conn., January 14, 2026
Albertus Magnus College
is pleased to announce the appointment of Glenn Newman, M.A. as its new Director
of Information Technology Services. The Seymour resident joined the Falcon Family
on January 5.
Newman’s responsibilities include aligning technology strategy with organizational
goals as well as being a champion for digital transformation initiatives that enhance
academic delivery and improve the student experience. Previously, he served as Director
of Technology for the Shelton Board of Education.
“Glenn is an accomplished Information Technology professional with extensive experience
leading enterprise-wide IT operations, infrastructure management, and cybersecurity
programs,” said Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty Rosa E. Rivera-Hainaj,
Ph.D. “Glenn fosters a service-oriented culture to deliver reliable and responsive
technology support for faculty, staff, and students. His servant leadership will be
an asset to the Albertus Community.”

strategic and academic priorities.” shared Newman. “Technology plays a vital role

Newman earned his Master in Industrial/Organizational Psychology and his Bachelor
of Arts in Psychology from Fairfield University. He also holds several certifications
related to information technology and cybersecurity.

Way to a Second Century strategic plan, with a bold vision to "be a destination liberal
arts-based college, distinguished in its interdisciplinary and experiential approach
to education, rooted in Dominican values, that prepares students for lifelong civic
