Overview
This gas-lit, Victorian House provides an alternative style venue for you to create the Jersey wedding that suits you, and your partner
Whether gothic, classic, or simply intimate, this location can be dressed as you wish.
Gas-lit ceremonies take place in the Victorian drawing room with the option to have drinks in the outdoor courtyard under a bed of twinkly fairy lights.
Utilise this historic building as a unique backdrop to your wedding photos, whether at the staircase, the front door to No.9 or within the drawing room.
Receptions can be held in restored dining room or we can transform the drawing room into an intimate reception space where dinners can be held for guests.
The Museum itself is also an ideal location for wedding receptions. In the summer, the walled courtyard, adorned with lavender and vines, is a beautiful and peaceful refuge in the heart of St Helier or when the museum closes you transform the large indoor entrance space into a unique venue.
Prices start from £2,260 for a ceremony in the Victorian House. Please speak to us about prices for receptions.

The Victorian House at No 9 Pier Road adjoins Jersey Museum and is one of the finest examples of a 19th century town house in Jersey. It has been fully restored to how it would have looked in 1861 when it was home to a prosperous family in Victorian St Helier.
