It’s no surprise that Kansas is at the top of the list. Ninety-one (91) percent of Kansas adults have a high school diploma, ranking Kansas No. 19 in the nation. Kansas is also among the top states for percent of adults with a college degree with 34% of the population having a bachelor’s degree or higher. Over 40% of adults, 25 and over, in Kansas have an associate college degree. In some areas, such as Johnson County in the Kansas City area, over 50% of the adults have a college degree.
