Regaining
Independence
Our staff has decades of experience helping individuals regain mobility, independence, as well as speech and language skills using state-of-the-art equipment. We specialize in stroke recovery and excel at caring for older adults and individuals with multiple or severe disabilities. Services are provided six days a week.
Physical Therapy
Physical therapy helps improve movement and mobility with targeted exercises, stretches, and therapeutic activities to support independence and overall well-being.
Occupational Therapy
Occupational therapy helps individuals perform daily tasks by improving motor and cognitive skills while optimizing your home, school, or work environment.
Speech Therapy
Speech therapy helps improve communication, speech, language, and swallowing skills, supporting independence and everyday life at home, school, or work.

Monroe Community Hospital is proud to be the first healthcare facility in the nation to install the innovative SafeGait system, a dynamic support system that has provided immediate benefits and confidence to those fearful of falling or struggling to walk on the road to recovery.
