Window Display  February / March 2026
Our February / March Window display celebrates the 100th Anniversary of Lostwithiel Bowling Club.
The Lostwithiel Bowling Club was formally established on January 18, 1926, following a meeting of twenty-three residents at The Guildhall.
The club secured a lease for its grounds from the Duchy of Cornwall at a nominal annual 'peppercorn rent' of £5.  The club continues to operate from its original site, which has benefited from extensive additions and improvements over the intervening years. Following the appointment of an inaugural thirteen-person committee, the club experienced rapid early growth, with membership more than doubling to fifty-one by March 1926.   Find  out more about the history of Lostwithiel Bowling Club
on their website.
