Public housing residents can call the Customer Contact Center at 718-707-7771 to report emergencies and schedule routine maintenance repairs in their apartments and developments. Trained representatives are on standby 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to handle emergencies and to schedule routine maintenance repairs for Monday through Friday, 6am to midnight.
The Walk-in Centers (see below) operate Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm.
The CCC was established in 2005 as a single point of contact for residents that improves the delivery of essential services and enhances the overall customer experience. In 2018, it handled an average of 9.214 calls and 925 walk-in customers each day.
The CCC’s trained customer service representatives assist customers with the following services:

Maintenance Repairs
NYCHA residents can call the Customer Contact Center:
Regarding emergency repairs in your apartment or in a public space
Concerning heat and hot water issues
To schedule general apartment repair appointments
For information about housing applications offices
The customer service representatives can assist you better when you provide the following information:
Your name, address, telephone number, and the name of your development
The location of the emergency (if it applies): apartment, lobby, hallway, stairwell, etc.
The floors affected
When and how the problem began
Previous work ticket number (if applicable)

Welcome Back!
NYCHA’s Customer Contact Center is excited to re-open our Walk-In Centers to assist you with your service needs. We evaluated how we can improve our service to you and are excited to announce our new appointment booking feature. You can now schedule a service appointment at a Walk-In Center for when it is most convenient for you, improving your customer experience and minimizing time spent in waiting areas. Here are the instructions to make an appointment for your visit.

or scan the below QR code with your smartphone:
Then follow these four easy steps:
Select a location to visit.
Select the available language you’d like to be served in.
Select the date and time you’d like to visit.
Enter your first and last name, email address, telephone number, voucher/case number (and any relevant information about your visit in the “Voucher/Case #” section).
Check the box indicating you agree to the terms, conditions, and privacy policy and press the “Create Appointment” button. Your appointment will be confirmed, and you can then exit by clicking “Back to Start Page.”
You will receive confirmation of your appointment via email, as well as a reminder email and text messages as you get closer to your appointment date. On the date of your appointment, you will receive a text message with a link allowing you to check in for your appointment.
