Office Hierarchy
The Office of the Secretary directly supports the Secretary of Energy, a member of the President’s Cabinet, in leading the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) and carrying out its mission. The Deputy Secretary and the Deputy Secretary’s team are also members of the Office of the Secretary.
The Office of the Under Secretary for Energy deploys energy infrastructure investments to communities around the country. These efforts aim to renew our nation's infrastructure, rebuild domestic manufacturing, create millions of good-paying jobs, and increase American competitiveness.
