TASUED Consultancy Limited is established by the University Management as one of the directorates of the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED), Ijagun, Ijebu-Ode; Nigeria’s premier specialized University of Education, which was established on 29th January, 2005 and formally approved by the National Universities Commission (NUC) on 28th November, 2025. It is a limited liability company incorporated in …….. under the Companies and Allied Matters Act 1990 of the Federal Republic of Nigeria and subsequently became fully registered with the Corporate Affairs Commission with the number: RC 964500. The current Director of the Company is Prof. Adebayo Olatunde Akinsanya.
TASUED Consultancy Limited, formerly known as the Human Resource Development Centre (TAHUREC), was established by the University Governing Council in 2008, with the following terms of reference cum mandate:
Mandate:
The mandate of the TASUED Consultancy Limited is essentially to advance knowledge-sharing in various domains through the provision of support services in the following areas:
training and retraining of personnel in areas of felt needs as may be required by different segments of the University, public and private sectors or other corporate bodies;
planning and organizing of train-the-trainers workshops on key areas of teacher education and higher education administration, specialized trainings and demonstrations;
collaborating and facilitating partnerships and linkages, workshops, seminars and conferences, technical and advisory services,
etc
.
engaging in other consultancy activities that will enhance the revenue generation drive of the University.
TASUED Consultancy Limited also carries out other broad responsibilities covering wide range of professional and technical expertise in the field of research, human capital development, organizational staffing, training and development, project management,
etc.
The Company has successfully partnered with some notable organizations on human capacity development initiatives and staff training within the short period of its operation. It has equally carried out consultancy businesses with a number of private and public organizations and consultancy outfits across various sectors and fields of endeavours in Nigeria, such as: the State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), sister Institutions, companies and organizations.
Since its establishment, TASUED Consultancy Limited has also been an active participant at the annual Teachers Day celebration by the University.
