Another benefit of attending an open day is you get to explore the University campus, see the spaces in which you’ll be studying and listen to lectures, as well as having the opportunity to see your course's facilities. It may not feel like it would make a difference, but it allows you to see the spaces and imagine yourself studying there.

After feeling anxious about my future plans at some other universities, it was a revelation to come to Plymouth. The warmth and friendliness of all the staff and students really made the university stand out. It felt like a family.
Phoebe, open day attendee
All the student ambassadors were super friendly! The admissions team were super helpful in finding a route that worked for me. I got to talk about foundation years and talk to lecturers one to one. It was really helpful to get that insight.
