Sports Medicine
Kootenai Clinic’s Sports Medicine program is a collaboration between our Orthopedics, Concussion Medicine and Family Medicine Residency providers as well as our team of athletic trainers who work closely with local schools. This team of highly-trained providers and athletic trainers will help get athletes back to doing what they love.
Our team works with adult and youth patients to:
Reduce pain/improve recovery from injuries
Learn injury prevention strategies

Orthopedics Same Day Care
appointments are available Monday – Friday for acute injury evaluation. Appointment availability rotates locations based on provider availability.
Program participants have access to our leading sports medicine experts, including:
Orthopedic surgeons
Family medicine providers
Concussion specialists
Athletic trainers
Rehabilitation therapists
Not all sports injuries require surgery. Our team of experts work closely to develop the best care plan for you. Athletes may be referred to one  of these Kootenai Clinic locations for follow-up care depending on diagnosis:
