Establishment of the Center
After reviewing:
Decision No. 352 of 2006 by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt to establish Pharos University in Alexandria.
Decision No. 202 of 2010 by the President of the Arab Republic of Egypt regarding the bylaw regulations of the Law of Private and Non-profit Universities, and the internal bylaw of Pharos University.
The decision of the University Council dated 24/2/2024.
The Pharos University Engineering and Technology Training Center was established by a decision from Prof. Dr. Mahmoud Mohy El-Din, the President of the University, No. (24) dated 22/5/2024, as a unit of the university, with its own technical, financial, and administrative independence. It is directly supervised by the President of the University and is located at the Faculty of Engineering, Pharos University in Alexandria.
Board of Directors Formation
The Board of Directors of the center is formed by a decision from the President of the University for a one-year term, renewable as follows:
Dr. / President of the University (President)
Dr. / Dean of the Faculty of Engineering (Vice President)
Executive Director of the Center (Member)
Representatives of the specialized fields in the faculty (Architecture, Construction Engineering and Management, Electrical/Power and Control, Mechanical, Industrial, Computer and Systems, Petrochemicals) (Members)
Two external members with financial and legal expertise (Financial Member + Legal Member)
Objectives of the Center
The center aims to provide distinguished theoretical and practical training services to civil society institutions, companies, factories, and individuals with efficiency, effectiveness, and professionalism in all engineering disciplines as follows:
Meeting the needs of the faculty and public institutions in the country in all engineering specialties (Mechanical, Electrical/Power and Control, Construction and Project Management, Architecture, Petrochemicals, Industrial, Computer and Systems).
Offering engineering training programs according to the required needs to develop the skills and capabilities of individuals in the public and private sectors, and to meet the needs of the market and society.
Cooperating with training entities in various state institutions to design training programs suitable for their employees in line with modern training requirements.
Providing training consultations to public and private institutions.
Continuously developing training programs considering needs and feedback from target groups.
Strengthening the concept of partnership and cooperation with local and international training institutions according to the relevant regulations.
Providing an outstanding training environment and promoting the culture of development and self-learning.
