Certification Programs
AIG has offered training and certifications to the Inspector General community since 1999. Our flagship Inspector General Institute® certification program is designed to provide training in best practices in core competency areas specific to different oversight roles, from senior staff and legal counsel to investigators, evaluators and auditors. All tracks offer instruction from experts in the field.

Since 1996, the AIG has served a distinguished and diverse membership. Its members represent professionals from international, national, state and local entities and include Inspector General executive management, criminal and civil investigators, auditors, evaluators, and IG legal counsel.
