To attract, develop and retain the best and brightest people from all segments of society and backgrounds at the Illinois Commerce Commission.
The ICC has much to offer prospective job applicants in the way of
challenging careers in diverse settings with offices in Springfield, the state
capital, and Chicago, the third largest city in the US, and Des Plaines.
The ICC regulates Illinois investor-owned electric, natural gas, telephone,
water, and sewer companies and is working to bring competition to these
industries. In addition, the Commission exercises authority over railroad
safety and hazardous materials movement, towing companies operating in the
Chicago area, and motor carrier insurance requirements.
