Directorate of Exchange and Industrial Linkages
The Directorate of Exchange and Industrial Linkages at Madonna University, Nigeria, is dedicated to building strong partnerships between the university and the industrial and professional sectors. It also facilitates academic and professional exchange opportunities that expose students and staff to practical experiences, global best practices and collaborative engagement with industry and peer institutions. Core functions and activities of the Directorate center on: industry-academic partnerships, exchange programs, connecting the university community with industrial stakeholders to commercialize research findings, support startup ventures, and promote innovation-driven learning. The Directorate organizes lectures, seminars, and workshops delivered by industry professionals to bridge the gap between theory and practice. It further supports joint research initiatives and consultancy services between the university and industry partners to solve real-world problems and influence policy, and tracks the outcomes of linkages and exchange initiatives, assessing their relevance, effectiveness and contribution to institutional and societal goals. By fostering synergies between the University and industry, the Directorate of Exchange and Industrial Linkages enhances the employability of graduates, promotes experiential learning and strengthens Madonna University’s role in national development and global competitiveness.
