We are delighted that you and your family are interested in joining our learning community. We know choosing a school for you and your child can be both exciting and overwhelming. We are here to support you, every step of the way.
Getting started is easy!
STEP 1 – Schedule a Chat
Contact the admissions office at
admissions@jds.org
to get all your questions answered.
STEP 2 – Application for Admission
Complete the online Application for Admission in
Ravenna
.
STEP 3 – Visit Day/Interview
Once your child’s application has been completed and received, students applying for K–8th grade will be invited to join us for a shadow day.
STEP 4 – JDS Transcript Release
Submit a
Transcript Release
directly to your child’s current school and request they send the records directly to the admissions office at JDS.
STEP 5 – Authorization for Exchange of Confidential Information
Parents should complete the
Authorization for Exchange of Confidential Information
and return it with your completed application. It should include your child’s current teachers and school, as well as any specialists your child is currently working with or has worked with in the past.

Admission Decisions Emailed
: March 20, 2026
Please be advised that after the yearly admissions cycle, we accept applications on a rolling basis, space permitting.
