How to Sign In
Microsoft 365 Copilot sign in is based on your role at the university:
University employees and guests:
Use lastname.#@osu.edu and password to log in.
COTC employees:
Use lastname.#@mail.cotc.edu and password to log in.
BuckeyeMail users at the university:
Use lastname.#@buckeyemail.osu.edu and password to log in.
Wexner Medical Center employees
(@osumc.edu) are not eligible to use this service.

Microsoft 365 allows Ohio State students, faculty and staff to access a wide variety of productivity apps, including Microsoft Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, and more. Access email, store and share files, communicate with your coworkers or students, schedule meetings, track your to-do lists and more by integrating applications and downloading them on up to five devices.

Microsoft “Ownerless Groups and Teams” Notifications

Microsoft sends emails when a team or group becomes “ownerless.” A team in Microsoft Teams or a Microsoft 365 group can become ownerless if the owner's account is deleted in Microsoft 365 – for example, if the group owner leaves the university. However, the messages sent over the past several days are incorrect and are in the process of being corrected.
