Outpatient Services offers a variety of proven approaches, dependent on the individual client’s needs and presenting concerns.
Our behavioral health and counseling services help individuals, couples and families effectively cope with life’s many challenges, such as divorce, the death of a loved one, family conflicts, emotional problems, low self-esteem, among many other issues.
Our team of psychiatrists, licensed mental health counselors and case facilitators provide mental health services to assist individuals with a variety of issues including:
Anger management
Anxiety (including social anxiety)
Coping with stress
Depression
Panic Attacks
Emotional distress
Grief and loss
Interpersonal conflict
Supported Employment
Low self-esteem
Relationship problems
Stress management/coping with stress
Therapy sessions are designed to help people identify their problems, define goals and direction in their lives, and work toward resolution and recovery.

As a community mental health center, Northeastern Center provides comprehensive mental health services, including outpatient therapy and medication management, substance use treatment, adult residential homes, inpatient services, 24/7 crisis services and more. With 12 locations across DeKalb, LaGrange, Noble and Steuben counties, it has served northeast Indiana since 1977.
No person shall, on the grounds of race, religion, sex, age, disability, national origin, ancestry, veterans status, ability to pay, GINA, gender identity or sexual orientation be excluded from participating in, be denied the benefit of, or be otherwise subjected to discrimination under any program or activity of Northeastern Center, Inc.
