Learner Profile
The
IB Learner Profile
is a set of
10 attributes
that the International Baccalaureate (IB) aims to develop in all students, across all its programmes (PYP, MYP, DP, and CP). These attributes reflect the IB’s mission to develop internationally minded people who help to create a better and more peaceful world.
Here are the
10 IB Learner Profile attributes
Inquirers
They develop their natural curiosity, acquire skills to conduct inquiry and research, and enjoy learning.
Knowledgeable
They explore concepts, ideas, and issues that have local and global significance, gaining in-depth knowledge across a broad range of disciplines.
Thinkers
They apply critical and creative thinking skills to analyze and take responsible action on complex problems.
Communicators
They express themselves confidently and creatively in more than one language and in many ways. They work effectively and willingly in collaboration with others.

Risk-takers

They approach uncertainty with forethought and determination; they work independently and cooperatively to explore new ideas and innovative strategies.
Balanced
