Accessibility and disability inclusion program
Metro’s accessibility and disability inclusion team monitors Metro’s efforts to meet its responsibilities under the Americans with Disabilities Act. It also applies an intersectional lens to the way Metro makes decisions and adopts practices and procedures, especially in areas that most affect people with disabilities. The team is committed to infusing compliance work with social justice work in ways that center disabilities communities.
The team convenes the

Metro facilities and programs
Removing barriers for people with disabilities requires continually evaluating the accessibility of Metro's facilities, programs, and practices. Metro actively works to remove barriers identified through this evaluation process. Metro's accessibility and disability inclusion program staff monitor and track Metro's self-evaluation and transition plan activities. This work not only addresses the requirements of the Americans with Disabilities Act but also supports Metro's commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion. By prioritizing these values, Metro can create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all. If you have questions, contact the
accessibility and disability inclusion team.
