Your questions answered
Do I have to pay a deposit for managed partnership accommodation?
When staying in either Newgate Court, Wellington St Plaza, Byron Central or Manor Bank, you must pay an advanced payment of £250 on accepting your offer. Your first rent instalment is due once you receive your maintenance loan.
For Verde and The View, you are required to pay a £100.00 holding fee that is deducted from the first rental payment.
Why do we offer managed partnerships for student accommodation?
Managed partnerships are one way in which the University provides students with accommodation. They are separate from our Newcastle University-owned residences, but we will manage your application and allocation.
